We've just had to say goodbye to our beloved Airedale, Henri, on Tuesday 3rd. Dec. aged 14 yrs 6 months!. Missing him enormously. Henri was our 4th Airedale and they've all been a pleasure to own! As we are now both retired, we thought that having a Welsh terrier would suit us, being easier to lift etc. if anyone knows of any Welsh terriers puppies for sale, please contact me. A truly loving, fun filled forever home is waiting for a puppy.
We just got our first Welsh Terrier puppy. We previously had a Australian Terrier. Terriers are our choice of dog since they have spunk. Kyffin is no exception. He is a smart little dog. I know he will be a lot of work but we are both retired so we can do it as a team.
Just popped by to say hello and support the website. We have a 6 month old Welsh boy named Coooper who loves to meet other friends
Just found your web site and will be back to visit it. After three lovely Airedales, I am now the very proud owner of a Welsh Terrier puppy (16 weeks F)named Fergy. She has a delightful personality and I am using a variety of training methods to work with her. The one behaviour which I find particularly challenging is the "mouthing/nipping" which the airedales never did....substitution, distraction, spray bottle and ignoring her seem to help, but we are not quite there. She is a great companion dog, and most fitting with my Welsh heritage.
I am considering homing a 2 year old Welsh Terrier. If you are a member living in the Stockport area I would appreciate contact with you for some practical advice on Welsh Terriers and their needs. I want to be certain that I can manage one before I commit, otherwise it is not fair to the dog. Many thanks
Hi Welshie lovers. I have a lovely girl called Ffion. We are feeling a bit lonely down here in Devon. I have yet to meet up with another W.T. owner, is there anyone out there near South Molton? We are thinking of having some pups but can't find a stud in this area. Can anyone help? Ffion is such a lovely girl I really think she would be a great mum.
My wife and I are looking to get a Welsh Terrier, is there anyone in the Leeds area who has one that we could talk to you, so we can understand what we may be taking on in the future.
Please let me know when the next planned walk is, I would love to bring my little Welshie Arthur!!
What an amazing turnout for the Ellesmere walk last Sunday. Twenty one Welshies in all - what a sight! Thanks to Liz for organising and leading the walk and to whoever managed to arrange the sunny weather for us! Great to see so many people there, several of whom had travelled a long way to be with us. Some photos of the day are in the gallery.
Had a great day out yesterday with the walk along the Shropshire Union Canal. There are few Welsh Terriers in Manchester so, because he is black and tan, Archie has always assumed he is a German Shepherd. At last he has walked with his own. Many thanks!
