Our walks are legendary and take place whatever the weather and everyone is welcome. If you don't have a Welsh Terrier but would like to meet some, you are more than welcome to come along and meet Britain's ''oldest native breed''.
Dunham Massey - sunday 21st march 2010

Meeting Place: The information kiosk at the car park, there is a parking charge
of around £4.
Join Welsh Terriers Evie & Nonny who will show you their favourite local walk in the North West at the National Trust property of Dunham Massey. We will meet at the info kiosk at the car park before heading to the stable yard where the walk will begin. There are toilets and a gift shop and restaurant at the stable yard. The walk is around an hour long and will go through the estate's deer park so dogs must remain on a lead at all times. We will have one set of steps to climb leading towards the river Bollin where our walk will continue before ending at the Swan with Two Nicks pub. Here you are welcome to stop for a drink and a bite to eat. The pub serves very good food and is dog friendly.
Dunham Massey is an early Georgian house built around a Tudor core. The deer park contains a Tudor mill refitted as a saw mill in 1860 and is now restored to working order. Dunham house and estate is one of the most popular National Trust estates in the North West and has some lovely dog walking paths to enjoy.
hadleigh castle, essex - saturday 27th march 2010

Parking is free and there are toilets available in the tea rooms. Castle Lane is
off the A13 in Hadleigh by a shop called Paul Newman interiors. Come and join
Welsh Terrier Duffy and friends for a walk around the
Hadleigh Castle ruins and surrounding area.
Suitable footwear should be worn, as there are stiles and it can be muddy in
places. NB. Not suitable for pushchairs.
A once royal castle overlooking Essex marshes, Hadleigh castle was once considered a strategically important fortress for protecting the approach to London via the Thames estuary.
