WELTAF which stands for Welsh Terriers and Friends was recently formed by a group of friends, all of whom are Welsh Terrier owners.

We are based over quite a wide area of the North West of the U.K., extending to Wales, Cheshire, Lancashire and beyond, although membership is open to all.

During the past couple of years we have organised Welsh Terriers events in various locations and enjoyed a wide range of diverse activities with our dogs. Already, we have exciting plans underway for well into 2008. These will be advertised well in advance on the website.

All Welsh Terriers and their owners are welcome at any of these events. If you do not currently own a Welshie, but would like to join us at any of our events, you would be made most welcome.

 

our protocol

When we meet up with our dogs, we follow a simple protocol, well here it is.

We respectfully ask that in fairness to everyone, aggressive dogs and any bitches in season are not brought to events. It is understood that all dogs remain on lead during rambles and as a body of people who wish to present the "good" face of responsible dog ownership, we ask that all owners ensure that they always carry poo bags and clean up after their dog!
